Rekkles: Transitioning from AD last-hitter to ADC

Rekkles’s Improved Performance with Krepo

Rekkles, the player from Elements, has faced criticism for his KDA-focused play style. However, with the addition of support player Mitch “Krepo” Voorspoels, Rekkles’s game seems to be improving, especially in terms of damage done to champions. Let’s break down his damage statistics for the EU LCS spring split 2015 week by week to get a full picture.

Week 1

– Graves 0/4/6 KDA, loss vs Fnatic – 12.2k damage done. Second highest in his team (Froggen had 20.1k), and 6th highest in the match (highest: Febiven 30.7k).
– Graves 5/0/7 KDA, win vs UOL – 13.1k damage done. Second highest in his team (Froggen had 21.8k), and 3rd highest in the match (highest: Froggen).

Week 2

– Graves 7/0/6 KDA, win vs CW – 20.3k damage done. Second highest in his team (Froggen had 25.7k), and 4th highest in the match (highest: Froggen).
– Graves 11/1/8 KDA, win vs ROC – 36.2k damage done. Second highest in his team (Froggen had 39.6k), and 4th highest in the match (highest: Woolite 40.7k).

An Interesting Note

In an episode of Summoning Insight, MonteCristo mentioned that Elements would do well and place high at the end of the split, while Fnatic would decline. The show’s host, Thooorin, agreed with these sentiments.

Note

Kev1n replaced Wickd in the lineup, but a throw against Giants led to a loss. Elements then faced a defeat against Roccat.

– Jinx 0/2/1 KDA, loss vs SK – 6.5k damage done. Second highest in his team (Froggen had 8.4k), and 5th highest in the match (highest: fredy122 15.2k).

Note

Krepo replaced Nyph in the starting lineup and showed promise against MYM. However, they struggled against SK.

Week 7

– Corki 9/1/2 KDA, loss vs CW – 49.3k damage done. Highest in his team and in the match.
– Corki 2/1/4 KDA, loss vs UOL – 41.2k damage done. Highest in his team and in the match.
