League of Legends Introduces New Lunar New Year Event
League of Legends has released a full set of goodies for their Lunar New Year event. Players can now purchase three new themed character skins, two summoner icons, and a ward skin from the in-game store.
New Ward Skin Depicts a Dragon Head
Unlike the previous Lunar New Year events, this year’s ward skin is not related to the zodiac animal, the ram. Instead, it features a “Firecracker” ward skin that depicts a dragon head.

Introducing Three New Character Skins
The Lunar New Year event also includes three new character skins. Players can unlock the Warring Kingdoms Nidalee and Katarina skins for 975 RP each, and the Firecracker Jinx skin for 1350 RP.
Special Game Mode and Previous Event Skins
In addition to the new items, players can enjoy a special game mode called Nemesis Draft until February 23. Skins and bundles from previous Lunar New Year events are also available in the game store during this year’s event.
