Dota 2’s summer event, Aghanim’s Labyrinth, has received nerfs for popular heroes. Winter Wyvern, the DPS monster, has been heavily hit, along with Omniknight and Disruptor, the game’s best healers and buffers. Additionally, some bugs and interaction issues have been fixed.
The cost of Bloodthorn, one of the best single-target damage increasing items, has significantly increased along with its cooldowns. Heart of Tarrasque has also received a gold nerf and now has a limited shop stock.
In terms of general changes, several places where players could get stuck in terrain have been fixed. There was also an exploit with Aghanim and summoned units, which has been addressed. The chance of randomly dropping a mana potion from an enemy has been reduced.
Encounters in the game have also been improved. Issues with players getting stuck in various encounters have been fixed. Rizzrick the Razorsaw Encounter now has a lower level arena, and several other encounter-related bugs have been resolved.
Several items in the game have received updates. For example, Black King Bar now has a decreased cooldown. Heart of Tarrasque has seen its recipe cost and cooldown increased, and it now has a limited stock. Bloodthorn’s recipe cost, cooldown, debuff duration, and debuff damage have all been adjusted. Other items like Orchid Malevolence, Force Boots, and Slippers of the Abyss have also undergone changes.
Various heroes in the game have received updates as well. Abilities and attributes for heroes like Tusk, Omniknight, Disruptor, Viper, Weaver, Witch Doctor, Winter Wyvern, Mars, Ursa, Sniper, Magnus, and Snapfire have been modified.
