New roster of B8 ends 26-game losing streak in their debut

Dendi’s B8 Roster Ends Losing Streak in Dota 2 Qualifiers

After almost three months without a win, Dendi and his new Dota 2 roster on B8 secured a victory against FlyToMoon 2.0 in the BEYOND EPIC Europe/CIS closed qualifiers. This win marked the end of their 0-26 losing streak, which had been the longest in professional Dota 2 history.

Rebuilding the Roster

In an attempt to turn their fortunes around, Dendi made significant changes to the roster. He replaced every player except himself with fresh faces who were seeking a team. Unlike before, Dendi focused on players who could function well rather than their previous results.

The Standout Player

Crystallis, one of the new additions to the team, performed exceptionally well in the game that ended their losing streak. With an impressive score of 11/3/20 as Ember Spirit, he continued his excellent play in the second game as Monkey King. Dendi took a step back to let his new teammates shine.

The Road Ahead

Despite the victory, B8 still faces the possibility of elimination in the qualifiers. They will need to defeat either Vikin.gg or Cyber Legacy to secure a spot in the playoffs, a tough task even for top-level teams.
