ONE Esports and IO Esports: Jointly Hosting $100,000 SEA Dota League

Get ready for an exciting regional event in the competitive Dota 2 scene. ONE Esports and IO Esports have partnered to organize a $100,000 Dota League for the SEA region, as announced today.

Registration is now open for all teams interested in participating. The tournament will feature two qualifiers taking place from June 4 to June 5, which will determine the final 10 teams competing in the league.

Top SEA Teams Invited, Joining Fnatic and TNC Predator

All the top teams from the SEA region have already received invitations to the event. Powerhouses like Fnatic and TNC Predator aim to dominate the competition. Out of the 10 available spots, seven teams received direct invitations, while the remaining three will qualify through the qualifiers.

Registration for the first set of qualifiers is open until June 3, and for the second set, the deadline is June 5. Two teams will be invited from the opening round of qualifiers, and only one team will make it from the second set.

Competing Teams and Schedule

The following teams are already confirmed for the league, which starts on June 18:

  • Fnatic
  • TNC Predator
  • Team Adroit
  • BOOM Esports
  • Geek Fam
  • T1
  • Reality Rift

All 10 teams will participate in a round-robin format during the regular season from June 18 to July 12. The top eight teams will advance to the playoffs on July 15. The grand finals, where the winner will claim the majority of the $100,000 prize pool, will be held on July 19.

This tournament is also the first Dota event set to run into July, so we can expect other similar events to release their schedules in the coming weeks.
