The Upcoming League of Legends RPG, “Ruined King: A League of Legends Story,” Set to Arrive Soon

The highly anticipated League of Legends RPG, “Ruined King: A League of Legends Story,” is on its way and will introduce players to the rich lore of the game’s universe. Developed by Riot Forge, a publishing label within Riot Games, the game will follow the stories of popular champions from the Shadow Isles and Bilgewater of Runeterra, including Miss Fortune, Illaoi, Braum, Yasuo, Ahri, and Pyke.

For the first time in League history, the world of Runeterra will be accessible to mainstream console players. “Ruined King” is scheduled to launch on consoles and PC in early 2021, with availability on Nintendo Switch and the Epic Games/Steam stores. Players on PS5 and Xbox Series X will have to wait a little longer for the release of the game.

Owners of the current generation of consoles, PS4 and Xbox One, will be able to upgrade to the latest console for free when “Ruined King” is released on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Riot has indicated that the game will launch on the newest consoles shortly after the initial release.

Riot Forge has collaborated with Airship Syndicate, known for their work on “Darksiders Genesis,” to develop “Ruined King.” This single-player RPG aims to satisfy both casual League fans and attract a larger audience with its immersive storytelling and gameplay experience.

Stay tuned for updates on the official release date for “Ruined King” on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
