Doublelift discloses that TSM attempted legal action against him over negative remarks about Reginald

TSM Faces Accusations and Lawsuit Threats, According to Doublelift

Former League of Legends pro, Doublelift, recently discussed the fresh accusations made against TSM in a live stream. He revealed that the esports team went as far as trying to sue him for disparagement. Doublelift criticized TSM’s CEO, Andy “Reginald” Dinh, for only addressing one paragraph of the Washington Post report, suggesting that he might be considering legal action against him.

During his stream, Doublelift also mentioned that TSM had previously attempted to sue him. This happened after he called out Reginald in November 2021, accusing him of bullying players and causing them significant distress. Doublelift even claimed to have a letter where Reginald threatened to sue him for disparaging the company.

When it comes to the possibility of being sued for “liquidated damages,” Doublelift consulted with his lawyers. He explained that it is common for someone to threaten legal action in an attempt to silence others. However, Doublelift chose to stay silent because he believes he had already made his point.

Former TSM Coach Shares his Experience

On May 4, KC “Woodbuck” Woods, a former League of Legends coach for TSM, spoke out about his experience with the esports organization. He revealed that he was paid an equivalent of $42k per year and was treated as an independent contractor. Additionally, Woods claimed that he was made to feel guilty whenever he tried to take a short break during his excessive 16-hour workdays.

These recent allegations and threats of lawsuits against TSM highlight ongoing issues within the organization and shed light on the treatment of its players and staff.
