Virtus Pro exact revenge, oust HellRaisers from WePlay! Pushka League playoffs

HellRaisers First Team Eliminated from Dota 2 WePlay! Pushka League Playoffs

In an unexpected turn of events, HellRaisers has been eliminated from the Dota 2 WePlay! Pushka League playoffs. They were the first team to be knocked out of the upper bracket, with the lower bracket matches already underway.

During the group stage, Nix and his team caused upsets by defeating top CIS teams and securing the top seed for their region. However, they couldn’t maintain their momentum, losing two series including a 2-0 rematch against Virtus Pro.

Despite a strong performance in game one, HellRaisers were unable to close it out and eventually lost. No[o]ne, playing as Bristleback, dealt over 50,000 damage and only died four times during the 50-minute contest.

The series showcased the dependence of VP’s success on No[o]ne’s performance and that of at least one other core player. If No[o]ne and either Resolut1on or iLTW are playing well and VP wins one lane, they become nearly unbeatable.

HellRaisers struggled to counter No[o]ne’s dominance, even though they tried to allocate resources to stop him. This allowed iLTW to have more freedom in his own lane. No[o]ne and iLTW continue to pose a challenge for every team they face, despite VP’s struggles in the Pushka League.

No[o]ne and iLTW Shine in Games Against HellRaisers

Comparing the stats of No[o]ne and iLTW against HellRaisers to their overall performance in the previous three-game series, it becomes clear that both players elevated their game in the playoffs. They outperformed their previous benchmarks when facing HellRaisers.

With this victory, VP advances to the next round where they will face Ninjas in Pyjamas. Unfortunately, HellRaisers bows out in a tie for seventh place, taking home $10,000 and earning an invitation to return for WePlay! Pushka League season two.
