Cloud 9 extended their undefeated record against Curse Gaming in the League Championship Series (LCS), securing a 2-0 victory in the Spring Split playoffs semifinals.

The top-seeded Cloud 9 now holds a dominant 10-0 record against Curse in the LCS.

“We had slow starts in all of our games, but we were able to bring it back pretty well,” commented Cloud 9’s star jungler, William “Meteos” Hartman.

Game 1: Cloud 9’s Strong Teamplay Overcomes Curse’s Early Advantage

Curse utilized the tank Mundo to gain an early advantage, winning a team fight at Dragon and securing a solo kill. However, Cloud 9 turned the game around with their superior team fighting skills, taking the lead and securing the victory.

Cloud 9’s strength as a team was showcased, with jungler Meteos displaying his exceptional skills on Elise and ADC Sneaky proving himself as a top-tier marksman.

Game 2: Cloud 9 Overcomes Curse’s Mistake to Secure Victory

Curse managed to secure an advantage after Cloud 9’s mid laner Hai Lam made a costly mistake. However, Cloud 9 fought back with their late game powerhouse Jax, ultimately winning the game with a quadrakill from Jax.

“I called for a few team fights that we misplayed,” admitted Lam, “We just got out team-fought in a couple fights.”

Cloud 9 will now face Team SoloMid in the finals, who also secured a victory against Curse in the other semifinal match.
