FunPlus Phoenix dominates Oh My God in LPL Summer Split

FunPlus Phoenix showcased their dominance with a clean sweep against Oh My God in the seventh week of the 2021 LPL Summer Split. Crisp made a strong return to the starting roster, leading his team to a 2-0 victory.

MVP Votes for Doinb and Lwx

Doinb and Lwx were the standout players of the series, earning the MVP votes for FunPlus Phoenix. Doinb’s Sylas performance in the first match was nothing short of incredible. He secured back-to-back triple kills and finished the game with a flawless KDA of 9/0/6. Lwx’s Vayne pick in the second game proved to be devastating, as he dealt massive amounts of damage and ended with a KDA of 10/0/9.

FPX’s Superior Skill and Mechanics

Throughout both matches, the skill and mechanics of FunPlus Phoenix players clearly outshone their Oh My God counterparts. While Oh My God reacted and tried to adapt, FunPlus Phoenix took an aggressive approach, making early-game plays to establish a lead and snowball the match. They secured two quick 20-minute wins, leaving no room for errors and entering their next series with confidence.

Upcoming Match for FunPlus Phoenix against Suning

Next, FunPlus Phoenix (9-3) will face Suning (7-5) on Friday, July 23 at 6am CT. Although Suning has shown strength in the 2021 LPL Summer Split, they should not pose a significant challenge for the 2019 world champions if FunPlus Phoenix continues their impressive performance.
