Froggen freezes Supa Hot Crew with his Anivia abilities

Alliance Dominates Supa Hot Crew in LCS with Anivia

Alliance put an end to Supa Hot Crew’s winning streak by showcasing their dominance in the European League Championship Series. Captain Henrik “Froggen” Hansen played on his signature champion, Anivia, leading his team to victory.

In their previous matchup, Supa Hot Crew was the only team to defeat Alliance this season. However, Hansen sought revenge and delivered an impressive performance as Cryophoenix, finishing with a 7/1/3 KDA. Over the course of two games this week, Hansen and Anivia combined for an outstanding 8/1/13 KDA, bringing Alliance to a league-leading 7-1 record with victories against ROCCAT and Supa Hot Crew.

Anivia has played in only three LCS games this year, all by Hansen. The champion fell out of favor due to the abundance of mobile champions in League of Legends. Nonetheless, Hansen decided it was the perfect time to bring back his favorite weapon.

Anivia offers a formidable presence on Summoner’s Rift. Her ultimate ability, Glacial Storm, and Crystallize, which creates an impassable wall, allow her to zone the enemy team effectively. Additionally, she possesses impressive crowd control with her slow and stun abilities. Glacial Storm is one of the best wave clear abilities in the game, and Frostbite deals significant damage in the hands of a skilled player like Hansen.

Anivia’s lack of mobility has been a disadvantage in the past, but with fewer assassins in the mid lane and jungle, she has made a strong comeback. Hansen strategically picked her against teams like ROCCAT and Supa Hot Crew, where her lack of mobility is less of a hindrance.

Hansen equipped Anivia with the Teleport ability, enabling him to enter team fights on his own terms and prevent the enemy team from escaping. This proved to be effective, as he secured two double kills against Supa Hot Crew.

Alliance also utilized Anivia’s ability to catch out enemy champions, resulting in a couple of kills on Supa Hot Crew’s mid laner, Marcin “SELFIE” Wolski.

Overall, it was an impressive performance by Hansen, Europe’s top mid laner, and the best team in Europe, Alliance.
