OG retains top position, convincingly sweeps HellRaisers at ESL One Los Angeles

OG Defeats HellRaisers to Stay in ESL One Los Angeles Playoffs

OG managed to secure their spot in the ESL One Los Angeles playoffs with a dominant 2-0 victory over HellRaisers. SumaiL had an outstanding performance in both games, and OG effectively utilized the support Nyx Assassin to secure the win.

The first game saw HellRaisers focusing on map control and teamfight heroes, particularly relying on Alexander “Nix” Levin to carry as Phantom Lancer. On the other hand, OG took a more patient approach, with Ceb creating space for the team. Despite a strong fight from HellRaisers, OG ultimately overwhelmed them, securing the win after 30 minutes.

In the second game, both teams drafted powerful heroes. HellRaisers aimed to build up a Morphling game, while OG had a strong Gyrocopter and Death Prophet lineup. HellRaisers put up a tough fight and initially brought the Morphling out early, but OG managed to turn the tides with SumaiL’s Gyrocopter equipped with a Rapier and Aegis.

With this victory, OG secured the second seed for the playoffs, pending their final series against Gambit Esports. HellRaisers, on the other hand, will need to defeat CyberLegacy and rely on Nigma losing to secure a spot in the playoffs after falling to sixth place in Group A.
