Alliance Enlists Xibbe as Temporary Player for ESL One Los Angeles Online

Alliance Announces Xibbe as Stand-In for ESL One Los Angeles Online

Alliance’s Dota 2 roster has undergone several changes, leading the organization to confirm that OG Seed offlaner Andreas “Xibbe” Ragnemalm will be standing in for the team during ESL One Los Angeles Online. This means that the team will be playing with a temporary player for the duration of the event. Alliance has also brought back former Alliance legend Gustav “s4” Magnusson, who will be taking on the role of team captain. However, there was still a gap in the team’s backline that needed to be filled.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, multiple teams have been forced to use stand-ins within the same region as their main roster. Alliance had to look for Swedish players who fit the bill, and Xibbe was the perfect choice. He has been playing offlane for OG Seed, but is also a competent support player, which is exactly what Alliance needed. Xibbe has previous experience playing with s4, as they were teammates at the IeSF World Championship 2019, where they helped Team Sweden win the gold.

While Xibbe’s time with Alliance may be temporary, depending on the circumstances caused by the coronavirus pandemic, he will be a valuable addition to the team during ESL One LA Online. Alliance’s first game is scheduled for April 5th, where they will face NiP, who are also playing with two stand-ins.
