League of Legends developers are focused on bringing the highly desired Briar feature

Gorillaz-Inspired Jungler Briar Receives Quality-of-Life Update in League of Legends

Just one week after the release of Briar, the Gorillaz-inspired jungler in League of Legends, the champion is already receiving its first quality-of-life update. Lead champion designer August “Riot August” Browning has confirmed that Briar will soon be getting a frenzy bar.

Increased Clarity for Enemy Players

Briar’s frenzy bar will activate when she uses the Blood Frenzy/Snack Attack ability. This bar will be visible beneath her health bar and will show how long the Berserking effect will last. This change aims to increase clarity for enemy players, allowing them to strategically react to Briar’s abilities.

No Exact Release Date Yet

Riot August has not disclosed the exact release date for this quality-of-life change. However, it is safe to assume that it might come with the next patch, Patch 13.19. Considering it is a minor feature and already looks polished, it is likely ready for shipping.

Other Champions in Need of Clarity

In addition to Briar, other champions like Tryndamere and Olaf could benefit from similar clarity enhancements. Currently, their ultimate abilities do not display any indicator to enemies showing how long the effects will last. This makes it challenging for opponents to strategize and counter these drain-tanking champions.

Overall, Patch 13.19, known as the Worlds patch, brings a variety of large-scale changes to create a versatile and intriguing meta. It includes tweaks to champions such as Galio, Gangplank, Lee Sin, and Lissandra, all of whom have a strong presence in professional play.
