The League of Legends off-season is in full swing worldwide, with all regions starting their free-agent windows. Teams are beginning to announce their rosters for 2023, giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come.

Astralis: Finished 9th in 2022 LEC Summer

Astralis, known for their success in CS:GO, made some roster changes halfway through 2022 but still finished near the bottom in the Summer split. With disappointing results, major changes were expected. While Astralis has not confirmed their new additions, reports suggest that Finn and Karmine Corp’s standout jungler 113 will join the team.

Team BDS: Finished 10th in 2022 LEC Summer

As the worst-performing team in 2022, Team BDS is also looking to revamp their roster for 2023. Reports suggest that they will build their team around their star mid laner NUCLEARINT, with several BDS Academy players expected to join the starting lineup.

EXCEL: Finished 6th in 2022 LEC Summer

EXCEL, known for their mediocrity in the LEC, is making big moves in the off-season. They have confirmed the departure of several players and have already signed new talent. Reports suggest that the team is acquiring 2022 Spring Split MVP Vetheo, former Rogue top laner Odoamne, and former G2 support Mikyx.

Fnatic: Finished 3rd in 2022 LEC Summer

Fnatic had an up-and-down year in 2022. While they had some successes, they ultimately fell short at the World Championship. Fnatic has confirmed the departure of Hylissang but has not made any other announcements. Reports suggest that Rekkles may be returning to the team, along with some other potential changes in the bot lane.

G2 Esports: Finished 2nd in 2022 LEC Summer

G2 Esports had a strong year domestically but disappointed at the World Championship. There have been no official announcements from G2 regarding their roster for 2023. However, reports suggest that both Flakked and Jankos will not be part of the starting lineup, and new arrivals, including Hansama and Yike, are expected.

Team Heretics: New LEC team

Team Heretics is a new addition to the LEC, having acquired Misfits Gaming’s spot. They are reportedly making big moves in the off-season, with LJL top lane superstar Evi and former G2 jungler Jankos joining the team, along with other potential signings.

KOI/Rogue: New LEC team

KOI and Rogue have merged to form a new team in the LEC. After a successful year, Rogue is aiming to keep most of their starting five for 2023. The only reported change is the departure of Odoamne and the addition of former Vitality top laner Szygenda.

MAD Lions: Finished 4th in 2022 LEC Summer

MAD Lions had a disappointing year, falling short of expectations. They have already announced the departure of several players and have rebuilt their roster with top laner Chasy, returning star Carzzy, former Fnatic support Hylissang, and LCK import Eyloya.

SK Gaming: Finished 8th in 2022 LEC Summer

SK Gaming is looking to revamp their roster after a disappointing finish in 2022. While there have been no official announcements, reports suggest that they have signed former Misfits top laner Irrelevant, EXCEL jungler Markoon, and LDLC’s Exakick and Doss as their new bot lane.

Team Vitality: Finished 7th in 2022 LEC Summer

Team Vitality’s superteam didn’t live up to expectations in 2022. They have made major changes to their roster, signing Alphari, Haru, Carzzy, and Labrov. Reports suggest that they will also acquire SKT Challengers top laner Photon and former Misfits AD carry Neon, as well as former MAD Lions support Kaiser.

These changes in the LEC roster for 2023 promise an exciting season ahead, with new teams, revamped lineups, and potential contenders for titles and Worlds spots.
