New Acquisition: Hylissang Joins MAD Lions for LEC 2023 Season

MAD Lions Welcomes Hylissang as New Support

MAD Lions has officially announced the addition of Hylissang as its new support for the upcoming 2023 League of Legends EMEA Championship Winter Split. After bidding farewell to the long-time Fnatic player, Hylissang’s potential move to MAD Lions had been the subject of speculation since earlier this month.

Hylissang, who spent more than four years with Fnatic, will now join his third team in almost a decade as a professional League player. From his time with Unicorns of Love to his successful tenure with Fnatic, Hylissang has achieved great success in competitive play, including reaching the World Championship finals in the same year he joined Fnatic.

Fnatic’s team director Javi “Dardo” Zafra expressed immense pride in having Hylissang as part of the organization for so long and acknowledged his growth and impact as one of the top supports in the region. The team thanked him for his contributions and wished him the best moving forward.

While some fans may find it strange to see Hylissang in a different jersey, his aggressive playstyle could be a perfect match for Carzzy, the ADC who will join him in MAD Lions’ bot lane in 2023. The duo reportedly expressed their desire to play together, bringing a dynamic and explosive impact to the team’s already talented roster.

With the addition of Hylissang, MAD Lions’ roster is now complete. Alongside Carzzy, Hylissang will join top laner Chasy and the veteran duo of Elyoya and Nisqy, who will take on the roles of jungler and mid laner respectively.
