A Guide to Watching the 2019 League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational

The Mid-Season Invitational is a major event in the League of Legends competitive calendar. It brings together the best teams from around the world to compete for a large cash prize and an international title.

The event will be held in Vietnam and Taiwan from May 1 to 19. This year, it’s expected to be even bigger and better with the return of international giants like SK Telecom T1 and G2 Esports.

Stream:
Just like other major League events, MSI will be streamed on Twitch in multiple languages.

Location:
The play-in and group stage will take place in Vietnam, while the knockout round and finals will be held in Taiwan.

Teams:
Thirteen teams from across the globe will participate in the event. The LPL, LEC, and LCK teams will directly enter the group stage. The LMS and LCS teams will have to fight their way into the group stage through the second round of the play-in format. The Wildcard teams will start in round one of the play-in stage.

Prize Pool:
The winning team will receive a shiny international title and a share of at least $1 million. The prize pool will also increase through sales of Conqueror Alistar, which will be released before the event.
