Akshan – A New Champion to Battle Viego and the Black Mist
Akshan is the latest addition to the growing roster of playable characters in League of Legends. Equipped with a Sentinel relic, he brings a range of new abilities to help the forces of Runeterra fight against Viego and the Black Mist. When the Sentinels of Light event begins, Akshan will be there to blast away the darkness.
Akshan’s Unique Abilities
Akshan’s ability kit showcases his prowess in dealing damage with various attacks. He also possesses a special ability that allows him to swing around terrain. The most remarkable aspect of Akshan’s abilities is his power to bring his fallen teammates back to life. By killing the enemy that took down his allies via his Scoundrel mark, Akshan can resurrect them back at their own fountain.
Akshan’s Arrival and Impact
Akshan’s arrival was teased by Riot through various means, including an online puzzle that players had to solve. The puzzle led to the reveal of a new poster for the Sentinel of Light event, featuring Akshan for the first time. In the League of Legends lore, Akshan plays a crucial role in the ongoing Viego storyline, joining forces with the other Sentinels to fight against the undead and the impending Ruination. Outside of the lore, Akshan will also receive a Cyber Pop skin in his debut.
