FORG1VEN and watdefox become new members of SK Gaming

SK Gaming to Reveal New AD Carry and Mid Laner

SK Gaming is about to unveil their new AD carry and mid laner after making changes to their roster during the offseason.

The team, which placed second in the Spring Split, had a disappointing performance at the League of Legends World Championships, failing to advance past the group stages. As a result, AD carry Adrian “CandyPanda” Wübbelmann became a free agent and Jesse “Jesiz” Le’s contract was not renewed. Jesiz has since joined Team Coast in North America.

Replacing these players will be former Copenhagen Wolves AD Carry Konstantinos “FORG1VEN” Tzortziou and Swedish mid-laner Hampus “watdefox” Myhre, formerly of sibling team SK Gaming Prime.

FORG1VEN’s return to the LCS will surely be an exciting one. He was very close to joining Team Curse during the offseason but the move fell through when the team signed Chae “Piglet” Gwang-jin, a former player for SK Telecom T1.

The announcement of these new players was delayed by SK Gaming as they awaited clearance from Riot. Sources have revealed that Riot flagged some of Myhre’s past accounts for negative behavior, prompting an internal discussion about whether to approve the move. However, it has been confirmed today that Myhre has been given the green light to play, albeit with a warning about his conduct in the future.

Now that the clearance has been obtained, SK Gaming will officially announce their new players soon.
