Worlds 2020 Clash Event: Exciting Updates and Rewards

If you thought League of Legends Clash tournaments were intense, get ready for the Worlds 2020 Clash Event. Riot Games recently announced the details in a blog post, highlighting the higher stakes, larger brackets, and bigger rewards of this year’s event. The tournament will be held on two consecutive weekends, starting on Oct. 10 and 11, followed by Oct. 17 and 18.

With an increased bracket of 16 teams, the Victory Point (VP) gains will also see a significant boost. There will be a trophy, four victory banners inspired by the Worlds event and Elemental Drakes, and two unique logos up for grabs.

In addition to the usual rewards, teams will have the opportunity to earn champion skin permanents and Worlds loot orbs with Premium Tickets. Those who place eighth through 15th will receive a Championship Skin Shard, while teams placing between first and seventh will be rewarded with a Championship Skin Permanent. The first-place team will also receive a Worlds Orb, regardless of the type of ticket they use (basic or premium).

Sign-ups for Weekend One will begin on Monday, Oct. 5, followed by Weekend Two sign-ups on Monday, Oct. 12.
