PSG Talon releases entire League roster

PSG Talon Parts Ways with Entire League of Legends Team

PSG Talon, a prominent esports organization, has announced that it is parting ways with its entire League of Legends team. The team, which includes top laner Su “Hanabi” Chia-Hsiang, jungler Jeong “Burry” Seung-hwan, mid laner Kim “Gori” Tae-woo, ADC Wong “Unified” Chun Kit, and support Ling “Kaiwing” Kai Wing, will no longer be representing PSG Talon in 2023.

Disappointing 2022 Season for PSG Talon

PSG Talon had a mixed performance in the 2022 season. Although the team had a strong start, winning the spring split and qualifying for the Mid-Season Invitational, they failed to secure a spot in the League of Legends World Championship. This unexpected loss came at the hands of Beyond Gaming in the PCS Summer Playoffs. It is the first time in three years that PSG Talon has missed out on Worlds since joining the league in 2020.

CEO Thanks Departing Players

Sean Zhang, the CEO and co-founder of PSG Talon, expressed his gratitude towards the departing players in a video shared on the team’s official Twitter page. Zhang thanked the players for their dedication and hard work throughout the 2022 season, highlighting the contributions of Hanabi, Unified, and Kaiwing, who have been with the organization since its early days. He acknowledged the incredible memories they created and the success they achieved on the international stage.

Rebuilding the Roster

With only top laner Huang “Ahzi” Shang-Jhih and mid laner Ng “Pretender” Cheuk Lun Jason remaining on the team, PSG Talon will now focus on rebuilding its roster. The team’s contracts are set to expire at the end of 2023 and 2024 respectively. Fans can expect updates on the new lineup through PSG Talon’s social media channels in the coming weeks as they prepare for the next competitive season.
