LGD Gaming Keeps League of Legends World Championship Hopes Alive

In a thrilling tiebreaker game, LGD Gaming emerged victorious against the LJL’s V3 Esports, securing their spot in the tournament. Previously considered a formidable force, LGD faced three defeats yesterday, causing fans to lose hope.

However, today LGD bounced back and secured their first win against V3 Esports, keeping their World Championship dreams alive. This win led to a tiebreaker match against V3 Esports later on.

Impressive Performance by Jungler Peanut

Jungler Han “Peanut” Wang-ho stole the show in the final game with his outstanding performance on Graves. His dominance in the early game allowed LGD to gain an advantage and secure crucial dragons. Peanut’s stellar scoreline of 7/1/8 completely dismantled the opposing team.

Thanks to Peanut’s efforts, LGD had the upper hand in the game. A teamfight for the fourth dragon became the turning point as LGD secured four kills and their third elemental drake. From there, LGD’s carries were unstoppable, leading to V3’s eventual defeat.

Next Challenge: Rainbow7

LGD will now face Rainbow7, the third-place team in Group B, on Tuesday. The winner will advance to another best-of-five match against the second seed from the other group. This match will determine if LGD can secure a spot in the group stage.
