André Guilhoto from Origen crowned as LEC Coach of the Split

Origen’s Coach André Guilhoto Awarded LEC’s Coach of the Split

After a successful 2019 Spring Split, Origen is set to face G2 Esports in the LEC semifinals. One of the main reasons behind their accomplishments this season is the outstanding coaching of André Guilhoto, who has recently been named the LEC’s Coach of the Split.

According to LEC shoutcaster Christy “Ender” Frierson, Origen showcased a strong understanding of the game, playing methodically and closing out their matches cleanly. This led them to secure second place in the regular season and gives them a shot at winning the first LEC trophy.

Despite not being the most aggressive team in Europe, Origen has proven to be highly efficient with their 1.27 KDA. They also have the least number of deaths in the LEC, highlighting their smart and calculated playstyle.

In fact, Origen boasts the highest early-game rating in the league, with a score of 58.5. This demonstrates their clean and precise execution in the first 15 minutes of the game, setting them up for victory later on. With the guidance of their coach, Origen’s veteran players have been able to create magic together, even without a roster full of superstar players.

Thanks to the efforts of André Guilhoto, Origen is well-prepared for a tough playoff battle. The team had a relatively smooth season and finished strong in the second half of the split, heading into the postseason with confidence. On Saturday, April 6, they will face the formidable G2 Esports, and it remains to be seen if all their training will pay off.
