TSM shows dominance against Echo Fox in the 2019 LCS Spring Split quarterfinals

TSM Advances to Semifinals of LCS Spring Split Playoffs

TSM has secured their spot in the semifinals of the 2019 LCS Spring Split playoffs, despite stumbling in the first game of the quarterfinals. Each game after the initial loss was heavily in TSM’s favor as they took early leads and pushed their advantage.

Echo Fox surprised TSM fans by playing a strong game in the first match. Mid laner Kim “Fenix” Jae-hun and top laner Colin “Solo” Earnest made impressive plays, putting Echo Fox in control of the series.

Unfortunately, Echo Fox’s Lee “Rush” Yoon-jae made multiple mistakes throughout the four games, costing his team several times. On the other hand, TSM’s jungler Matthew “Akaadian” Higginbotham was a dominant force for his team, securing early game kills in three out of four games with his choice of Rek’Sai.

All of TSM’s players performed well, with Sergen “Broken Blade” Çelik excelling in the side lanes, Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg making plays as Lissandra and Zoe, Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen showcasing great positioning in teamfights, and Andy “Smoothie” Ta initiating engages on Galio and Alistar.

Echo Fox may need to reevaluate their strategies and roster for the summer season, as they struggled against top teams in a five-game series.

TSM will now face Cloud9 in the semifinals of the LCS playoffs. Although TSM has yet to secure a victory against Cloud9 this spring, they will be looking for a change of luck on Saturday, April 6.
