Vitality Gives Cabochard Freedom to Pursue Opportunities in 2021 Season

Team Vitality’s Top Laner Cabochard to Explore Options for 2021

After another disappointing season, Team Vitality has announced that their experienced top laner, Cabochard, will be exploring his options for the 2021 competitive season, as the veteran himself revealed today.

Following their failure to qualify for the 2020 LEC Summer Split playoffs and the 2020 World Championship, Vitality had a challenging year, struggling to find success after numerous roster changes.

During the 2020 Spring Split, Vitality had a mix of experienced players like Cabochard and Jactroll, along with rookies Comp, Skeanz, and Saken. However, the team finished last with a disappointing 2-16 record.

In the following split, Vitality brought in Milica and Nji for mid lane and jungle, respectively, while giving their rookies more experience in the Academy team. But the constant roster swaps hindered the team’s synergy, resulting in inconsistent performances and a final record of 7-11.

Cabochard has been a prominent top laner in Europe for many years and has been a consistent performer. However, in his four years with Vitality, he only managed to reach Worlds once in 2018.

Now, the experienced top laner is on the lookout for a new team to showcase his skills. While there are potential teams in need of a veteran like Cabochard, he has sufficient time to make a decision before the upcoming offseason.
