Nadeshot, Owner of 100 Thieves, Offers Generous Cash Giveaways to Twitter Community

100 Thieves CEO Gives Away Money to Twitter Users

Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag, CEO of 100 Thieves, has been feeling grateful today and decided to give away a significant amount of money to random Twitter users. In a tweet posted at 1pm CT, Nadeshot asked his followers for their cashtag, which is a unique identifier for the mobile payment transfer service Cash App. He then proceeded to give away nearly $150,000 to those who replied to his tweet with their cashtag.

A Clear Hit on Social Media

The response to Nadeshot’s offer was overwhelming. Between his initial tweet and a follow-up tweet showing his Cash App balance of $149,800, Nadeshot received over 40,000 replies. Many of those who received money from Nadeshot shared screenshots to confirm that they indeed received the cash.

Random Amounts Sent, but No One Left Empty-Handed

While the amounts of money Nadeshot sent out seemed random, he did not skimp out on anyone. Several recipients reported receiving several hundred dollars, with the highest amount being $550. Just an hour and a half after starting the giveaway, Nadeshot revealed that he had already sent over $50,000.

A Popular Figure in Gaming

Nadeshot has long been a popular figure in the gaming industry, especially since his time as the captain of OpTic Gaming’s Call of Duty team. After leaving OpTic, he founded 100 Thieves, which has quickly grown to become one of the top esports organizations in the world.

This act of kindness has been a huge success for Nadeshot, 100 Thieves, and Cash App. It’s great to see esports fans using the app and potentially receiving a generous cash gift from one of the most recognizable figures in the industry.
