Report: FlyQuest and rising star Toucouille set to part ways after one season

FlyQuest Mid Laner Toucouille to Leave LCS and Join LFL

FlyQuest mid laner Toucouille is set to leave the team and return to his home country of France to compete in the European Regional League, LFL, according to a report from Alejandro Gomis of Blix.gg.

Toucouille joined the LCS this season and gained recognition in the LFL in 2020 and 2021. He will be joining Team GO in the LFL for the upcoming season, as reported by Gomis.

Team GO Verbal Agreement with Toucouille

Sources have reported that Toucouille has reached a verbal agreement with Team GO. He plans to return to the LFL. Stay tuned for more details.

A Youth Movement for FlyQuest

Toucouille’s addition to FlyQuest this year marked a strong commitment to a youth movement for the franchise. The mid-jungle duo, consisting of Toucouille and Josedeodo from Argentina, formed one of the youngest pairs of players in the league. Recently, Josedeodo hinted at his departure from FlyQuest, stating that the team has allowed him to explore his options for the upcoming LCS season.

Success of Toucouille in North America

Toucouille achieved great success in North America right from the start. He received All-Pro honors in both the Spring and Summer Splits, and was a top contender for the LCS Rookie of the Year award.

Changes in FlyQuest Starting Lineup

Alongside Toucouille, several other players from the FlyQuest starting lineup are also reportedly leaving the team. Last month, the starting AD carry Johnsun was removed from the League global contract database, although the team has not made any public statement regarding his status. FlyQuest may be heading towards a roster rebuild this offseason, especially since they have reportedly hired former 100 Thieves general manager Chris “PapaSmithy” Smith for a similar role.

Toucouille’s contract with FlyQuest was set to expire at the end of the 2024 season, according to the global contract database. The details of his transfer to Team GO in the LFL are currently unknown.
