League’s preseason introduces significant buffs to Cho’Gath and Nunu’s eating abilities

Cho’Gath and Nunu Receive Damage Buffs in League of Legends Preseason

Cho’Gath and Nunu have always been valuable on teams due to their ability to secure objectives with spells that deal true damage to monsters. With the upcoming jungle changes in the League of Legends preseason on November 16th, Riot Games is buffing the damage of Cho’Gath and Nunu against non-champion targets.

August Browning, the lead champion designer at Riot Games, announced on Twitter that Cho’Gath and Nunu will receive compensation buffs to ensure their competitiveness with the new Smites. Cho’Gath’s Feast damage against non-champions will be increased from 1000 to 1200. Similarly, Nunu’s Consume ability will deal increased damage to monsters, ranging from 400 to 1200, depending on the level.

Here is the tweet where Riot August shared the details.

These buffs are in response to Riot increasing the damage of Smite spells from 400 to 600. By buffing Cho’Gath and Nunu, Riot aims to ensure that they remain competitive when it comes to critical scenarios that require precision and timing.

Overall, these changes are great for Cho’Gath and Nunu, as they will help these champions stay relevant in the preseason and in the upcoming Season 13 by allowing them to deliver their formidable true damage to the table.
