Faker Complains About Top Esports Substitute Player, Team Fines Him

Faker, the renowned League of Legends player, expressed his frustration with a solo queue player during a live stream. It was later revealed that the player in question is Qingtian, a substitute top laner for Top Esports. In response, the team has decided to punish Qingtian by deducting his salary for a month.

Faker was streaming solo queue games for his fans when he encountered an Aatrox player who exhibited poor gameplay. The three-time champion criticized the player for constant mistakes and a negative mindset. Ultimately, Aatrox finished the game with 16 deaths and no kills, resulting in a loss for Faker’s team.

Faker continued to express his dissatisfaction with the state of Korean solo queue after the game. He stated that such players are the ones he dislikes the most, but he believes Riot Games tolerates their behavior. He also questioned why Chinese players were given special Riot accounts, expressing his frustration with the ongoing problems in solo queue since 2015.

Top Esports released a statement on their official Weibo account, acknowledging Qingtian’s inappropriate behavior. The team reprimanded him and decided to deduct one month’s salary as a punishment. Additionally, they will intensify training and supervision for all players.

In the same statement, Qingtian apologized for his actions and acknowledged his responsibility as a professional player. He pledged to take each game seriously and create a better gaming environment.
