Targamas and Véthéo Reportedly Joining Excel for Upcoming Season

French Support Player Targamas and Mid Laner Vetheo Joining Excel for 2023 League of Legends Season

According to reports, French support player Raphaël “Targamas” Crabbé and Misfits Gaming’s Vincent “Vetheo” Berrié will be joining Excel for the 2023 League of Legends season.

Targamas, who recently joined G2 Esports, is said to have reached an agreement to swap with Excel’s Mihael “Mikyx” Mehle, as reported by Blix.[source]

In addition, Vetheo, the mid laner, has reportedly verbally agreed to join the British team after his team lost its LEC spot to Team Heretics, as stated in a report by Wooloo.[source]

Excel’s 2023 LEC Season to Start with New Lineup

According to the latest reports, Excel will have a significantly different lineup for the 2023 LEC season. Earlier leaks suggested that veteran top laner Andrei “Odoamne” Pascu, the 2022 Summer champion from Rogue, would be joining the roster.

Impressive Performances by Targamas and Vetheo in the LEC

Both Targamas and Vetheo had an exciting year in the LEC. Targamas made a strong impression with his aggressive playstyle and achieved the highest KDA in the league. He also won his first-ever LEC split in Spring.

Vetheo, on the other hand, emerged as one of the youngest stars in the LEC this season. The 19-year-old was voted MVP of the Spring Split and showcased consistent performances, securing the most kills in the league.

If these reports about the addition of Targamas, Vetheo, and Odoamne are true, Excel is definitely a team to watch in the upcoming season.
