League of Legends community uncovers 7 game-breaking bugs affecting Azir

Azir in League of Legends: Still Plagued by In-Game Bugs

Azir, one of the popular champions in League of Legends, continues to suffer from several game-breaking bugs that significantly impact gameplay. These glitches, documented by a concerned player, have become a regular occurrence and hinder the smooth performance of Azir’s abilities.

Last night, the player shared their frustrations on the League subreddit, confirming that each bug mentioned can be easily replicated. They have noticed encountering these glitches in approximately one out of every two to three Azir games. The bugs affect crucial aspects of Azir’s kit, including his tower and soldier placement.

List of Azir’s Current Bugs:

  • Shifting with Azir’s E ability can cause the champion to get trapped within walls.
  • Shifting into a wall forces Azir into a static superman-like pose, temporarily immobilizing him.
  • Azir’s sand soldier fails to deal damage to its target.
  • Azir’s temporary tower permanently tracks enemies through the fog of war until it finds a new target.
  • Summoning Azir’s tower triggers a repetitive sound effect resembling an alarm.
  • Azir skips the shifting animation and teleports to the target location instantly.
  • Azir’s soldiers spawn in random locations.

These bugs significantly affect Azir’s gameplay, especially in regards to shifting, which grants him impressive mobility and the ability to access the backline. However, getting stuck on objects in the game world completely hampers his effectiveness.

Interestingly, the targeting laser bug in Azir’s tower has persisted for quite some time, dating back to 2015, not long after Azir was first released.

Regrettably, Azir players have been unable to enjoy playing their favorite champion without having to deal with these persistent issues that frequently arise during their games.
