Unfulfilled Potential
Many fans had high hopes for 100 Thieves, considering their strong performance in the previous season. The team bolstered their roster by signing experienced LCS player Choi “huhi” Jae-hyun and former world champion Bae “Bang” Jun-sik. However, the team failed to find the synergy needed to maximize the potential of their new additions.
Early on, it was evident that Huhi was not performing at his best, ranking as one of the lowest mid laners in the league. This was just one of the many struggles faced by the 100 Thieves roster throughout the season.
From Zaqueri “aphromoo” Black’s misplays to Kim “Ssumday” Chan-ho and Andy “AnDa” Hoang’s inconsistent performance in the top lane, the team faced numerous challenges that led to their decline in the standings.
