2016 Mid Season Invitational: Day 1 Recap
Day one of the highly anticipated 2016 Mid Season Invitational is finally here! Let’s take a look at how the teams are faring so far.

In the pick and ban phase, Jaehyun “Huhi” Choi for CLG picked the champion Aurelion Sol, which was a surprising and exciting choice. It’s great to see a rarely used champion make an appearance in competitive play.
The early game was interesting, with Huhi attempting to gank for Darshan “Darshan” Upadhyaha but being ulted away by Hyeongseok “Looper” Jang. First blood went to Looper, but CLG quickly responded with a kill of their own. Back and forth fights continued throughout the game.
In the end, Royal Never Give Up secured the victory.
