Tomorrow, Dota 2 showmatch to take place at WePlay! Bukovel Minor

WePlay! Bukovel Minor Grand Finals to Feature Dota 2 Showmatch

Broadcasters Danil “Dendi” Ishutin and Kyle Freedman will go head-to-head in a Dota 2 showmatch to kick off the WePlay! Bukovel Minor grand finals. Joined by four other commentators and analysts from their regional broadcasts, the two teams will fight for bragging rights.

The Teams

Dendi, known for his time with Natus Vincere, will lead the Russian casters. His team consists mostly of EU and CIS veterans who are still active in the competitive scene. Freedman, a retired pro who played for Complexity Gaming, will play alongside members of the English talent desk, many of whom are focused on content creation or are retired players.

Russian Team Advantage

The Russian team, with players like Dendi, ALWAYSWANNAFLY, and Sunlight who are currently active in the pro scene, has an immediate advantage in terms of experience and knowledge of the meta.

Date and Prize

The showmatch is scheduled to take place before the grand finals of the WePlay! Bukovel Minor on January 12 at around 11am CT. Although the prize for the winner has not been announced, both teams are eager to win for the bragging rights over their co-workers.
