Dyrus Believes this is the Greatest TSM Lineup to Date

The Best TSM Yet: Interview with Dyrus on TSM’s Prospects

In an exclusive interview at Insomnia, former Team SoloMid top laner Marcus “Dyrus” Hill shares his thoughts on TSM’s chances at Worlds. Dyrus believes that this is the best TSM lineup to date, and with the addition of Immortals and a strong coaching staff at Cloud9, he believes that North America has significantly improved. However, he also recognizes the challenges that NA teams face when playing against international teams.

Predicting the Top Three Teams for North America at Worlds

Dyrus thinks that TSM and Cloud9 are almost guaranteed to represent North America at Worlds. As for the other two spots, he is torn between Immortals and CLG. While Immortals is the stronger team, CLG’s experience playing together gives them an advantage. Dyrus is confident that North America will have a stronger showing this year compared to previous years.

Hauntzer’s Potential and TSM’s Dominance

Dyrus believes that Hauntzer is a great candidate to continue TSM’s legacy in the top lane. He acknowledges the difficulty he personally faced playing against Hauntzer, but also emphasizes the importance of team synergy and coaching in TSM’s overwhelming success. Dyrus praises TSM’s current roster and coaching staff, highlighting that they are in a good place for Worlds.

The Match between TSM and C9

When it comes to the match between TSM and Cloud9, Dyrus believes it will be a close battle. He points out that both teams have strong individual players, but TSM has the advantage of having more time together as a team. Dyrus predicts a 3-2 victory for TSM, but acknowledges that a different outcome is also possible.

Dyrus’ Retirement and Future Plans

Dyrus explains that he took a year off after retiring to reflect on his mistakes as a player. While he doesn’t have the motivation or tolerance to become a pro player or coach, he still enjoys watching scrims and sharing his insights with viewers. Dyrus plans to continue as an entertainer, focusing on streaming and creating content for his fans.

The Origins of the Singed Player

Curious about Dyrus’ affinity for Singed, he shares that it all started when he witnessed a player dominating with Singed in Season One. Dyrus wanted to replicate that success, and Singed became his comfort pick after Jax. However, Dyrus admits that he struggled to make Singed work against certain champions, and this realization contributed to his decision to retire.

We thank Dyrus for his time and wish him a pleasant time at Insomnia58 in the UK.
