Caedrel joins DRX as co-streamer for LCK matches

Fans of LCK and LEC are in for a treat as DRX announced that Caedrel has joined them as a co-streamer for their matches. Caedrel, formerly the jungler of Excel Esports, left the organization at the end of last year. Although his team didn’t qualify for playoffs, he made guest appearances and was later recruited by LEC as an analyst for the 2021 season. With his five years of competitive playing experience, he provides valuable insights to help viewers better understand the map movements during competitive matches.

Increasing co-streamer presence in LPL and LCK

Recently, IWillDominate also received permission to co-stream the LPL. This trend of Western streamers joining the co-streams of LPL and LCK allows viewers to watch their favorite content creators dive deep into the matches and explain the intricacies of certain movements that may not be covered in the official broadcast.

LCK starts with surprises and upsets

The LCK began last week, and already we’ve seen some surprising outcomes. Some rookie teams have managed to climb to the top of the standings with impressive debuts in the split. However, the 2020 world champions DWG KIA have struggled to find their form, delivering unsteady performances after their loss to RNG in the MSI finals.

LCK and LPL in the world championships

Despite appearing weaker in recent years, the LCK holds the record for the most League of Legends world championship trophies, with six. The LPL is the second strongest region, boasting two trophies and showing significant improvement after franchising.

The next LCK matches are scheduled for Wednesday, June 16, featuring Nongshim RedForce vs. DRX and Gen.G vs. KT Rolster.
