Rogue Secures First Place in 2022 LEC Spring Split as Regular Season Concludes
The regular season of the 2022 LEC Spring Split has officially ended with Rogue maintaining their first-place spot throughout the eight weeks. The top six teams in the LEC will now move on to the Spring Playoffs, which start on March 25. Riot Games has revealed the upcoming matches for the playoffs.
Spring Playoffs Bracket Unveiled by LEC
After the conclusion of the regular season, the LEC has officially revealed the bracket for the Spring Playoffs. Rogue, Fnatic, G2 Esports, Misfits, Excel Esports, and Team Vitality will compete for the title of Spring champions. Teams are divided into an upper and lower bracket, with the top four teams receiving significant rewards.
Upper Bracket Matchups
The upper side of the playoffs bracket features Rogue against Misfits and Fnatic versus G2. These teams have proven themselves as strong competitors in the region, securing the top four spots during the eight weeks of the regular season. The Spring Playoffs will begin with Rogue versus Misfits, followed by Fnatic against G2 on day two.
Lower Bracket Teams
Excel and Vitality find themselves in the lower bracket after working hard to make their mark in the regular season’s final weekend. Excel will debut in their organization’s first-ever playoffs on day three. Both teams will strive to make it to the Spring Playoffs finals by battling through the lower bracket.
The 2022 LEC Spring Playoffs begin on March 25 with three best-of-five matchups for round one, culminating in the finals on April 10.
