Fnatic to Allegedly Part Ways with All-Pro support Hylissang Following 5 Seasons

Fanatic’s League of Legends Team Promotes Rhuckz as Starting Support for 2023 Season

According to a report by Marián Stoica of Blix.gg, Fnatic’s League of Legends team is making a significant change at the support position for the upcoming 2023 season. Subsitute Rhuckz will be promoted to a starting role.

Fnatic’s support role has been held by veteran player Hylissang for the past five seasons. Together, Fnatic and Hylissang have never failed to qualify for the LEC playoffs and have participated in the League World Championship in all five seasons.

However, it has been reported that Hylissang will be leaving the team, signaling the end of one of the longest tenures in LEC history.

Instead of Hylissang, Rhuckz, Fnatic’s current substitute, will be taking over the starting role, as per Stoica’s report.

Impressive Performance by Rhuckz at Worlds 2022

Rhuckz previously played with Fnatic during the 2022 World Championship. He stepped in for Hylissang on the opening day of the play-in stage due to Hylissang’s positive COVID-19 test. Rhuckz helped the team secure victories in both games played on September 29th and achieved a deathless KDA of 22.0.

Hylissang’s Future and Contract

Hylissang, who has only played for two organizations throughout his professional League career, including Unicorns of Love, is currently contracted to Fnatic until the end of the 2023 season, according to the League Global Contract Database. If Fnatic proceeds with their reported plan to move on from Hylissang, the highly skilled All-Pro support should have no difficulty finding a new team.
