EG advances to grand finals at ONE Esports World Pro Invitational Singapore following dominant victory over Gambit

Evil Geniuses Dominates Gambit Esports in ONE Esports World Pro Invitational Singapore

Evil Geniuses (EG) emerged victorious against Gambit Esports in the upper bracket finals of the ONE Esports World Pro Invitational Singapore. In their earlier encounter during the group stage, Gambit was the only team to defeat EG. However, in the latest match, EG dominated with two quick wins, securing their spot in the grand finals.

EG’s Andreas “Cr1t-” Nielsen played exceptionally well, showcasing his skills with the hero Tiny. Cr1t- made strategic moves across the map, setting up key ganks that led to EG’s success. The team’s cores also performed exceptionally, placing them at the top of the net worth charts.

Despite their strong performance in the earlier stages of the tournament, Gambit seemed unable to execute a gameplan against EG. Underestimating EG’s early game strength, Gambit players struggled to compete and fell behind quickly.

With a rest day ahead, Gambit will have time to regroup and prepare for their upcoming matches. While they have secured a top-three placement, their underperformance may fuel their determination to bounce back.

EG, on the other hand, can relax and observe the tournament’s progress. With only one more series to play, they have ample time to strategize for their next opponent. Their impressive performance solidifies their status as favorites in the competition.

EG’s new recruits, Abed Yusop and Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev, have been instrumental to the team’s success. Their laning skills have been crucial in the fast-paced meta, allowing EG to gain an early advantage and dominate the mid-game. This version of EG seems to be the strongest yet, with the players complementing each other effectively.

By securing a top-two placement, EG is guaranteed a prize of at least $100,000. The winner of the World Pro Invitational will take home a hefty $200,000. While EG and Gambit won’t compete tomorrow, there are exciting elimination matchups that will determine the final team on the podium.
