AnDa begins 2020 LCS season teamless

Former FlyQuest and 100 Thieves Jungler AnDa Will Not Be Competing in the 2020 Season

In a post on Twitlonger, former FlyQuest and 100 Thieves jungler Andy “AnDa” Hoang announced that he will not be joining any LCS or Academy League teams for the upcoming 2020 season.

AnDa, who is 24 years old, spent the last 17 months with 100 Thieves, where he played 16 games in the LCS during the 2019 Spring Split. However, due to the team’s below-average 4-14 split record, AnDa was replaced by European jungler Maurice “Amazing” Stückenschneider. Despite this, AnDa and the Academy team managed to secure a victory in the league’s split playoffs.

AnDa stated, “Going into 2020, I won’t be competing on an LCS/Academy team. I’m excited to take this opportunity to focus on improving certain aspects of my game. I still have great confidence in my skills and having the support of people who believe in me will keep me motivated. I’ll be ready to return to the pro scene whenever the opportunity arises.”

AnDa joined 100 Thieves in July 2018 as part of a trade that involved jungler William “Meteos” Hartman moving to FlyQuest. While AnDa contemplates his next move in his professional career, Meteos has since re-joined 100 Thieves.

Considering AnDa’s success as part of an Academy League championship team, it is likely that he will find a place on an Academy team sometime in 2020.
