League of Legends Season 2017 Update
Riot has revealed all the details about the 2017 season of League of Legends. Here are the changes you can expect:
Ranked
- Solo/Duo Queue is back.
- Flex Queue allows up to five players to queue up, similar to the 2016 season.
Replays and Practice Modes
- Replay tool lets you easily rewatch matches and analyze objectives and kills.
- The practice tool provides infinite mana and health, allows you to choose your level, and removes cooldowns, making it easier to practice new champions.
Client
- New teach, designs, and UI.
- You can now change game settings from the client.
Assassin Update
- Talon, Rengar, Leblanc, and Katarina have undergone major changes.
- Fizz, Zed, Akali, Kha’zix, Shaco, and Ekko have received minor changes.
- Armor Penetration has been changed to Lethality.
New Assassin Items
Poacher’s Dirk – Kill large minions for it to become serrated dirk.
Sorcerer’s Bane – Anti engage item.
Gameplay Updates
Flowers/Plants
- Blast Cone – Knocks away enemies.
- Scryer’s Bloom – Reveals large portion of the map.
- Honeyfruit – Provides health.
Jungle Adjustments
- Red and Blue Buff no longer have small monsters.
- Six raptors instead of four.
- Grump poison gone.
- Krugs break into smaller krugs until fully defeated.
Masteries
- Strength of the Ages removed.
- Courage of the Colossus included – Gain shields when inflicting crowd control.
New Items
- Knight’s Vow – Choose a partner to gain armor and movement speed around them.
- Redemption – Target a part of the map to heal allies, damages allies.
