League of Legends Co-Streaming Announcement for LPL Summer Split 2021

League of Legends fans are in for a treat as the 2021 LPL Summer Split approaches. IWillDominate, the Cloud9 League streamer, announced today that he has received permission to co-stream the LPL. This is the second league that IWillDominate will co-stream during the upcoming Summer Split, in addition to the LCS. With the leagues running at different times, it will be easy for the Cloud9 streamer to co-stream both events on a weekly basis.

Increasing Western Interest in the LPL

The LPL has grown steadily over the years, attracting Western players who want to watch the dominating performances of their favorite teams. The league consists of 17 teams and features a wealth of domestic talent, with intriguing storylines that captivate viewers. Players like Doinb, Rookie, and TheShy have made a name for themselves on the global stage. Although the LPL used to trail behind the LCK, they have become the second-best league in the world, with two World Championship wins under their belt.

LPL’s Path to Global Domination

Following RNG’s recent victory over DWG KIA at MSI, the LPL is moving closer to overtaking Korea in global dominance. They are on track to become the premier League region in the world.
