OG unveils new roster for second DPC Major qualifiers

OG Announces New Roster for Second Dota Pro Circuit Major

With the qualifiers for the second Dota Pro Circuit Major just around the corner, OG, the reigning Dota 2 world champions, have revealed that they will not be competing with their current roster. Instead, they will be fielding a completely new team comprised of five players from different backgrounds. The team, known as OG Seed, will be playing under the OG banner and will participate in the European qualifiers for a chance to secure a spot in the tournament.

Johan “N0tail” Sundstein, the captain of OG, will take on the role of coach for this new team. He expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating that the players in the new roster have tremendous potential. N0tail also assured fans that OG will still be aiming for their third title, even though they won’t be attending the second Major.

The new roster consists of the following players:

  • Rasmus “Chessie” Blomdin
  • Omar “Madara” Dabachach
  • Peetu-Elmeri “Peksu” Väätäinen
  • Andreas “Xibbe” Ragnemalm
  • Zakari “Zfreek” Freedman

Chessie and Zfreek are experienced players who have spent most of their careers with Complexity in North America. The remaining three players are talented competitors who haven’t yet found the right team.

While OG’s announcement also hinted at a yet-to-be-announced CS:GO roster, no further details were provided. It remains to be seen how the two OG rosters will coexist following the second Major.
