Top Esports Secures Spot in League of Legends World Championship with Dominant 3-0 Victory against Suning

Top Esports Secure Spot in League of Legends World Championship After 3-0 Victory in LPL Summer Split Playoffs

Top Esports, in a convincing display, defeated Suning with a clean 3-0 series in the LPL Summer Split playoffs. This victory marked the first time in the organization’s history that they have secured a spot in the League of Legends World Championship.

All players of TES performed exceptionally well, resulting in three players receiving the Player of the Game awards. Top laner Bai “369” Jia-Hao received the first title after his dominant performance on Jax. Jungler Hung “Karsa” Hao-Hsuan earned the second award with his dominating Graves performance, effectively neutralizing the opposing jungler. World champion JackeyLove claimed the third award for his impeccable Ashe performance, showcasing his ability to land crucial ultimates throughout the entire game.

The series kicked off with a dominant win for TES. Suning tried to withstand the pressure from TES in the first game, but the outstanding performance of top laner 369 on Jax, including splitpushing, taking away jungle camps, and securing objectives quickly, ensured TES maintained a significant lead. The game ended with TES holding a 13,000 gold advantage in a one-sided 27-minute match.

In the second match, Suning showcased a stronger early game, punishing TES and maintaining a 3,000 gold lead. However, TES turned the tides after securing the Dragon Soul and Baron, nullifying the gold lead and ultimately winning the game through intense teamfights.

This championship appearance is a monumental achievement for Top Esports. While they proved their skill with a victory in the Mid-Season Cup in May, participating in Worlds this year provides an opportunity for them to further demonstrate their worth. If they maintain their current level of performance, they have a high chance of securing a 3-0 win against a European team in the World Finals. Although their Worlds spot is confirmed, they still need to put in effort to win the LPL Summer Playoffs.

In the next stage, TES will face the winner of the match between JD Gaming or LGD Gaming, which will take place tomorrow. TES previously lost the Spring Split championship to JDG, potentially setting up an intense rematch between these two formidable teams soon.
