League of Legends Poro King Game Mode Returns in Patch 9.24 with Night and Dawn Event
Get ready for some seasonal snowball fights! Riot Games is bringing back the Poro King game mode in League of Legends with the upcoming Patch 9.24. To celebrate the holiday season, they are introducing a new versus event called Night and Dawn.
The Dawnbringer and Nightbringer skin lines are also making a comeback with new skins for the Night and Dawn event. Karma and Nidalee will receive Dawnbringer skins, while Lee Sin and Vladimir will get new Nightbringer looks. Additionally, Soraka will be siding with both sides for this versus event and will receive new looks for each of the skin lines.
Poro King Returns with Exciting Twists
In a recent tweet by Geoff Marsi, Riot Games announced that Poro King will be making a comeback with a few new twists. The PBE (Public Beta Environment) has already introduced the game mode, and more details about it can be found on the official boards.
To enhance the Night and Dawn versus event, Riot is introducing two new Poro Snax to the game mode, named Dawnbringer and Nightbringer Snax. Feeding the Poro King a Dawnbringer Snax will summon Dawnbringer Riven’s blade, hurling the player into the teamfight. On the other hand, consuming a Nightbringer Snax will summon Nightbringer Yasuo’s wind, aiming to disrupt and disorient the opposing team.
Quality-of-Life Changes and More
The Poro King game mode will come with some quality-of-life changes, including ARAM’s randomly assigned champion selection process. Additionally, all ARAM-specific items, champions, and rune changes will be included when Poro King returns.
