CvMax Returns to Work with LCK Team DRX After Suspension
South Korean League of Legends coach Kim “cvMax” Dae-ho has returned to work with LCK team DRX, following his five-month suspension. The suspension and a fine were imposed on cvMax by the South Korean Esports Fairness Committee due to his actions while coaching Griffin. During his suspension, cvMax was also involved in a police report for alleged assault. However, despite the controversy, cvMax has joined DRX and will resume his coaching duties.

Strong Coaching Record Despite Suspension
Although cvMax faced suspension, he has a strong coaching record since 2017 and joined DRX in November 2019. Despite being listed as inactive during his suspension, cvMax remained with the organization, while another coach was appointed as the interim head coach.
Upcoming LCK Summer Split
DRX concluded the 2021 LCK Spring Split in fifth place, with a 50-percent win rate. In the first playoff series, they were defeated by T1. The Summer Split is expected to begin in June, following the ongoing Mid-Season Invitational.
