HellRaisers defeat Geek Fam to advance at Dota Summit 11

HellRaisers Defeat Geek Fam to Advance to Playoffs at Dota Summit 11

HellRaisers emerged victorious in their matchup against Geek Fam, securing a place in the playoffs of the Dota Summit 11 tournament. After losing to Chaos Esports Club in the Winner’s Match, Geek Fam was unable to recover their momentum. HellRaisers took advantage of this opportunity to push into the playoffs.

Impressive Meepo Performance by HellRaisers

In the previous series, jfshfh178 defeated Ninjas in Pyjamas, setting the stage for HellRaisers to prove their strength even without a full roster. With Alik “V-Tune” Vorobey wielding a Meepo in the draft, he was the standout player on the team with close to double-digit kills. Geek Fam’s decision to leave Kunkka on the board worked in favor of HellRaisers, as they had the perfect core to secure victory in game one.

The control provided by Alexander “Nix” Levin on Kunkka and an offlane Sand King prevented Geek Fam from making any significant moves. This, combined with V-Tune’s Meepo, proved unstoppable, resulting in HellRaisers clinching game one.

HellRaisers Secure Playoff Spot

Game two was a closer battle, but HellRaisers secured a stronger draft. Geek Fam’s Marc “Raven” Fausto put up a valiant effort, but the team failed to keep their key players alive long enough to make an impact. As a result, HellRaisers dominated the match, with V-Tune and Nix tearing through Geek Fam’s backlines.

With a decisive 2-0 victory, HellRaisers advanced to the playoffs of Dota Summit 11. They will now face Invictus Gaming in the first round of the main event.
