Newbee Gaming Signs Former Oh My God Player Yu “Cool” Jiajun
Newbee Gaming, a team in the LPL, has announced the signing of Yu “Cool” Jiajun, formerly of Oh My God. Cool will be filling the spot left by Bae “Dade” Eojin, who recently departed from the team. Cool joined Newbee after losing his starting position on OMG to Xie “icon” Tianyu.
Newbee Gaming’s Transformation from QG Reapers
Newbee Gaming, formerly known as QG Reapers, went through a rebranding. The team had to play in the Promotion Tournament to maintain their spot in the LPL. In the Spring, they finished with an 8-8 record, but faced difficulties during the Summer and ended with a 4-12 record. With the addition of Cool, they are hoping for improved performance both domestically and internationally.
