Invictus Gaming dismisses transfer rumors involving TheShy and vows to pursue legal recourse

Invictus Gaming Denies Rumors of TheShy’s Departure

Invictus Gaming, a Chinese esports organization, has denied rumors that their top laner Kang “TheShy” Seung-lok will be leaving the League of Legends team. This was revealed by the organization on Weibo yesterday.

In a statement, IG said, “The recent rumors surrounding TheShy on various online communities have all been maliciously fabricated. Currently, such rumors are affecting the players’ reputation in a negative way.”

TheShy: A Valuable Player in the League

TheShy has been regarded as one of the most valuable players in the League of Legends community. Since his Worlds-winning run last year, many teams have expressed interest in acquiring his services. Despite a slight dip in his team’s performance in 2019, TheShy’s top lane prowess and playmaking abilities remain at the top level of competitive play.

TheShy Stays with IG

IG has stated that despite the rumors, TheShy will remain with the organization for the 2020 season and beyond. The team emphasized that TheShy is currently under contract with IG and has not shown any intention of transferring to another team.

IG also mentioned that they will take legal action against those who personally attack TheShy or spread false rumors about him. They have urged the public to rely only on official news from the team during the free agency season.

TheShy Clears the Air

TheShy himself has commented on the issue, confirming that he has no plans to leave the team. He expressed his affection for his teammates as the reason for his loyalty to IG. “I haven’t asked for a higher salary for the two years since I joined,” he said.
