Riot Gives Hotfix Buff to Sylas to Improve Win Rate
Whenever Riot introduces a new champion, their win rate usually skyrockets after players become familiar with their abilities. However, this hasn’t been the case for Sylas, the latest addition to the game. Despite being played in both solo lanes and the jungle, Sylas has remained underpowered in all roles. In response, Riot has implemented a hotfix buff to address this issue.
Buffing Sylas to Boost his Performance
The decision to buff Sylas was made based on the understanding that players have already mastered his kit and are chaining abilities effectively. Rather than altering his abilities, Riot has decided to increase his damage output. Although increasing damage can be a delicate task, it is necessary in this case. Champion.gg, a League of Legends statistics site, has even labeled Sylas as the worst champion in the game.
The addition of more damage to Sylas’s kit is particularly important because his ultimate ability heavily relies on the champion he steals it from. If he cannot acquire a high-damage ability, it negatively impacts his teamfight potential. Thus, boosting his basic attacks and other abilities will greatly benefit him.
Improving Sylas’s Performance in the Game
Players who are eager to test out the newest champion in League of Legends can now do so with more confidence. The hotfix buff has already been implemented, providing Sylas with the extra damage he needs to compete.
